Total sanctioned strength of Board = 12. Elections were held in 1999 to the Board through independent elections conducted by Barun Mitra of Liberty Institute.

Thereafter, seven active members remained as at 24 August 2003. Two changes took place after that. Dr. Parth Shah was inducted on 25 August, 2003 as Trustee. Shashi Shekhar Vempati left the Board due to family commitments in mid-September, 2003.
