I am indeed questioning with a super-duper mind and what I am asking is this:
"The US Government has in the past puppeted the Pakistani Government without
really ever understanding the regional politics or South Asia and it did so for
its own benefit.  Such a collaboration didn't benefit the people of Pakistan and
it certainly has destabilized the region.  So, I am now questioning the
sincerity of US Government's "friendship" with the Indian Government and asking
whether the Indian people would be taken for a ride while these two Governments
become buddies?
