And to bring you back to reality I query on the issue again:  Should the
Government decide whether or not an auto-wala like yourself should be caught
dead with a transistor by banning FM Radio?

This is more an opinion than factual information.  Unless, of course, you can
provide data to everyone on this forum.

Let us take a second look at what you have been saying!  How convenient?  An
auto-wala like yourself wouldn't be caught dead with a transistor but somehow
there is a large segment that is too poor to have an FM radio?  I hope this is
not the India that you want me to "come back to"?

Perhaps we shouldn't suppress those who want to speak against Veerappan by
banning FM altogether.  Banning free expression in the hopes of containing the
rogues in our society will ultimately (and fatefully) silence  those who might
want to talk about the good things to strengthen our communities and country as
a whole - including this very debate!!
