I am sad to report that Bollywood lost its appeal to me roughly around my
11th birthday. Alas, Mission Kashmir came a couple of decades too late for
me to watch it repeatedly of my own volition.

I totally concur with the gist of your post. I was not excluding the obvious
aspects you highlighted ( but thanks for filling it in). Rather I was
highlighting one component. I was trying to analyze if economic deprivation
is a catalyst to the unique N.E situation..topologically compounded. And if
so whether improved transit and trade ties with BD provides a key... it may
be true it may not..trying to find out..

I am glad to note that you have finally relieved yourself of the
encumberance of being indirect in your denigration.  Lends context...

So I still don't know. Will trouble in the N.E go down with free(er) trade
and better transportation via B.D?
