Of course I do. Unlike Mr. Tripathi, I do not rely on dictionary.com
for
my vocabulary. The term "rabid socialist" is known to me; it likely
derives
from quite archaic British usage of the late 19th or mid 20th centuries.
My objection was to gratuitous rudeness which violates IPI's norms. I
must
add a new objection about the anonymity being used by Mr. Garg and Mr.
Tripathi to make their rude remarks from behind their yahoo email
addresses.
Would they care to identify themselves by name and address?
Would either also care to coin a sentence of his choice in which the
term
"rabid socialist" is used accurately in the case of some Bengali or any
other Indian? For example, would he call George Fernandes or Jyoti
Basu or
Mr. Namboodiripad or Rabi Ray a "rabid socialist"? If so, why?
