That's NOT true.

May I be permitted to say what I do for India as an Indian-American?

I am devoting my full time 7 days a week, 14-16 hours a day, to
promote and deepen US-India friendship and cooperation. My
website - an On-line Resource for Indian-Americans
and Friends of India" is a labor of love for which I am not paid a
single cent nor am I looking for or expecting any payment or reward
whatsoever for what I do. My wife (who,BTW, is a WASP) in a sense
subsidizes my time spent on this non-profit
project as she works and pays the family bills.

Apart from keeping the website up-to-date - it's updated at least
thrice a week - I receive about 200 e-mails per day on matters
relating to US-India relations, most of which
receive a response from me individually. In addition, I moderate
an E-Forum on US-India-Relations that has become
a major enterprise in itself. That's the extent of load I carry!
(If I were being paid, that would add up to a minimum of
USD 200, 000 per year!!!).

Please visit the "Lobby for India" section of the
IndiaTogether website http://www.indiatogether.org/us/lobby.htm
and tell me if you would still
like to make unfounded charges against us?.
