Karthik, that's roughly what I get (a middle level bureaucrat); today, it
is 3 times what my Ministers get.

If this is enough for you (3.6 lakhs a year) are you now ready to contest
elections - explain how you will fund the election and the ENTIRE process
of serving me (the citizen) for 5 years, and still not make corrupt money
on the side. Just the detailed calculations please. I don't want anyone to
actually spend money contesting elections.
