Please help make the Manifesto better, or accept it, and propagate it!

I completely agree with mr. Navaneethakrishnan Kandasamy abt what he has
written, but it is not that, that curruption does not exist in private
organisations, yes but its very limited. and also as he has said that make it
mandatory all procedures, but most of all such procedures(cases) shud be
with a
time limit.
Low salary is not the correct reason to be corrupt, for Instance I am in
mumbai
and many a times I have to go out of mumbai for official and personal work, so
at toll nakas, it is mandatory for all vehicles (trucks and tankers) to pay
octroi put I have seen Police Inspectors taking bribes i.e while driving away
the driver hands over the money and cooly drives away!! The Inspector is not
even bothered to check the vehicles coming in mumbai for prohibited goods(arms
and ammunitions!!)

so some steps..
1)Identify the areas where an average citizen interacts with the Govt.
or needs Govt. approval. List them. Make them simple and corruption
free. Make all the procedures pertaining to the approvals public,
forms furnished at the office, and have a time period within which it
has to approved, if not the concerned staff has to give a written
reason why this was not approved.(again make it simple for the staff
also)
2)Indians have (correct me if Iam wrong )an attitude to illtreat the
poor and weak and bow before the rich and powerful. What is needed is
the Indians have the treat everybody with basic human respect and
dignity. I should not treat a poor/honest Govt. staff with disdain
(if I am rich and expect to buy him off), or if I am a govt staff, I
should treat even the illiterate, poor with equal help.
3) CVC alone can't solve the problem, An avarage citizen doesn't have
time or is occupaid with the misery of making a living, and he just
doesn't have the will power to call 1-600 or write endless letters.
This is a job of the Govt. to put mecahnism in place to eliminate
corruption and let the citizen know, It is the duty of the citizen
to use the mechanism to report corruption.
4)Privitise Telephones,Buses, railways and all state govt enterprises
fully. Make laws to effectively curb monopoly, and safe guard
national interests. The people and national interest alone should
form the basis for regulating the business.
5)Declare that all black money is valid and can be brought in to
circulation. No insistances that it has to deposited in the lousy
public sector bank. Let them be free to invest where ever they want
other than in offshore banks. This is the only way you are going to
bring the money lying in someone else bedroom to work for the country.
6)Indians should eliminate their hunger for gold. This is a national
crime. We are the largest importer of gold. This money could have
been invested in stock exchange or setting up factories which could
have provided jobs.
7)SPEND MORE ON EDUCATION!. Every child and adult should be educated.
8)Keep religion only in your home.
9)Indian are the biggest cowards and problem avoiders in this world.
Nothing ventured, nothing gained.
10)Don't have false pride over the so called "Indian" culture, there
are lots of bad things than good things in our culture. Instead,
learn with humility from others. Just as the Japanese were told to
learn Industrialization from U.S. with humility and respect.
The problems that India will face are enormous, there is no time for petty
caste, religion, language fights. Elimiate it.
Surely we can do that, for once let's give ourselves half a chance, before
we continue to malign India and fall head over heels with U.S. Because India
is our identity, if our identity is corrupt, there will be no use living in
this world. There is no use of any riches, or education. How much ever I try
I can't erase my identity, and I don't want to have a corrupt identity.
