There is no need for law that say that only educated, honest individual
should apply for contesting the election. The political parties can
themselves do it.

Same with the politics about reservation for women, what is the need for a
law saying 30% reservation for women.  when all that parties have to do is
give 30% of all tickets to women.

Now there are lot of silver linings for India, eventhough the politicains
and babus (No offence to Sanjeev). are hell bend upon selling and looting
this country to help the poor Swiss Banks.

People of India are inherently not corrupt. It is situations, the laws, the
system that makes them corrupt.

Sanjeev may think otherwise, But I think that Govt has never been doer. If
Sanjeev's NIT means additional Govt departments, and Babus, I am TOTALLY
AGANIST IT. NIT will eradicate poverty in paper,  so what? that still
doesn't mean increased standered of living.


Madras Municipality uses 90% of the taxes it collects on giving salaries to
its employees, that means to say that nothing good is happening to the
People via better roads etc., if the Govt Staff can't do anything due to
shortage of funds, Why do we have to pay them to do nothing and be
hinderance to people's business?


Corruption also florishes because we tolerate it. If the Association of
Exporters make a resolution and strictly say that none of them will pay to
the Cutoms Goondas, then there is a chance that Customs will get scared and
do their Job for once.


Every shop, business establishment should make their premises Corruption
free Zone. If more people just refuse to pay the postman, telephone man,
things will change. Don't expect the Govt to do everything.


Indians have also a foolish pride in having the capacity to corrupt and are
just used to becoming corrupt.

I will be more blunt, Some Indians in U.S send money to India via illegal
Hawla, now these elated, suddenly blessed souls, who have almost everything
should not be so greedy and corrupt right?, but no!. They even have the
audacity to brag about it. Dowery among these elated souls is a customs to
be charished (according to them)


Indians are not also blunt and are too tolerant. They try to save a friend
who has done a crime. No American will try and protect a friend if he knows
that he has committed a crime. (generalised, just an analogy)


I have made lots of assumptions and have generalised Indians as a whole, I
know I will receive a lot of rebuttals and harsh words. But I hope a few
will understand what I am trying to say.
