India Today on Pakistan's 1971 Surrender

The Pakistan Government had a fully inquiry into their 1971 surrender =
and the emergence of Bangladesh.  The result was known as the Hamoodur =
Rahman Report, and true to form, the Pakistani Government suppressed it =
-- ordering all copies to be burnt.  One copy surtvived and has been =
published this week, 29 years later, by India Today on the Internet at
http://www.india-today.com/ntoday/extra/71war/intro.html.

The copy is genuine according to Pakistani generals, and the Pakistani =
Government have now ordered an inquiry into how it has surfaced.

This is a brilliant achievement of India Today, which, in terms of its =
impact, eclipses almost all other discussions of the subject.   It is a =
"must" read for all Pakistanis, Bangladeshis and Indians.
