Re: The greed continues....

Please help make the Manifesto better, or accept it, and propagate it!

"Who is to bell the cat and ensure each department...." The answer is
competition!! If the Government is subjected to the same rules as the private
sector then who in the Government would take their jobs for granted and would
they not care about quality?

Your Government had undisputed power for 50 years because there hasn't
been a serious debate on growing institutional power over individual
freedoms!! We desperately want our Government to be responsible but refuse to
realize that there are no checks and balances in place to ensure that it is
responsible - hence, it does what it wants to! What wonders could be achieved
if the Government is subjected to the same forces as the private sector? And
why not; is it not an institution like any other corporation. Does it not
exist to provide services to the people? Yet somehow the Government has
become a "special" institution with special set of rules - so much for
uniformity!

Sincerely,
Vamsi M.
