Subject: Debate: Items 6 and 3 on Manifesto
Hi all,
I am not fully aware of the new regulations/rules for discussions as I am
seriously backloged
in reading my mails. Please direct me in the right direction. In the mean
time I have this to say.
In Item 6 of the manifesto "Defence"
The last paragraph does not really sound good to me.
" The sole purpose of creating a nuclear weapon must be to help the
world
understand the futility of trying to hold on to existing power
structures in
perpetuity, and to insist that everyone in the world will be
better off with
complete disarmament."
I do not think there is any further need to create "Nuclear weapons" I am
sure that
there current nuclear arsenal that the world has is more than enough to
help the world
understand the futility of the existing power structures. I think that
this clause would
do nothing but give a "REASON" to create nuclear weapons. I like the idea
of
"COMPLETE" nuclear disarmament.
Item 3: Changing the economic system.
I think that we should add the idea of a "Minimum Wage" somewhere here.
Please discuss
