Thanks for the open invitation. I do not know whether my paper is of
interest to the group. It deals with tax and welfare reforms in the U.S.
The
inspiration are the two concepts of flat tax and negative income tax.
The
first owes its origin to Milton Friedman though not acknowledged as
such.
The second has been popularised by him though the concept predates him
and
owes its origin to another Nobel laureate Stigler.
